If you're in a Brooklyn state of mind and enjoy the musical renditions of chassidic singing stars, then five dollars will buy you a reserved place and a T-shirt at what's being called The Great Parade.
Scheduled to start at 10:15 am on Lag BaOmer, Sunday, May 2 at Eastern Parkway and Kingston Avenue, the concert will feature Jewish entertainers and singers Mordechai Ben David, Avraham Fried, Lipa Schmeltzer, and Uncle Moishy.
The concert will be followed by a parade including all the classic favorites including marching bands. After the concert, the parade route will include a stop at 770 Eastern Parkway, world headquarters of the Lubavitcher chassidic movement.
