Passover Medley Video Tells the Whole Story With Beatboxing and Song

Two childhood friends with a shared passion for Judaism, one a cantor and one a beatboxer, combined their talents to create a unique music video that retells the whole Passover story through an eclectic mix of the most popular Pesach melodies, using only beatboxing to create the musical background.

Beatboxing is a form of vocal percussion primarily involving the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one's mouth, lips, tongue, and voice. In this video Jon Murstein provides the cantorial melodies while Jay Stone does all of the background sounds without the help of any instruments.

Calling themselves Bagels 'n Box, the duo create original Jewish hip-hop on CD albums and in live performances.  Enjoy!
