Jewish Humor Central is a daily publication to start your day with news of the Jewish world that's likely to produce a knowing smile and some Yiddishe nachas. It's also a collection of sources of Jewish humor--anything that brings a grin, chuckle, laugh, guffaw, or just a warm feeling to readers. Our posts include jokes, satire, books, music, films, videos, food, Unbelievable But True, and In the News. Some are new, and some are classics. We post every morning, Sunday through Friday. Enjoy!
This is bit sacrireligious and uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteThe music was interesting, the comedy not so funny and the audience ignorant.
ReplyDeleteAgree.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. I thought it was ok. The audience wasn't so much ignorant as just not so religious. I've seen funnier and I've seen worse on this site (the Bark Mitzvah comes to mind as an example of real disrespect and ignorance) and he could have skipped "Silent Night," as it wasn't written by a Jew, but the rest of them were. True, he should come to shul more often. But I actually wish him luck. I'm saying this as a former comedian and as a rabbi.
