Throwback Thursday Comedy Special: Fanny Brice and Judy Garland in "Everybody Sing"
It's Throwback Thursday, and today we're taking you back 79 years to 1938, when Judy Garland and Fanny Brice starred in the movie Everybody Sing.
A highlight of the film was a duet between Brice and Garland with Brice playing her popular role as Baby Snooks with Garland as Little Lord Fauntleroy.
The Baby Snooks Show was a radio program starring comedian and Ziegfeld Follies alumna Fanny Brice as a mischievous young girl who was 40 years younger than the actress who played her when she first went on the air.
During the 1940s, the show became one of the nation's favorite radio sitcoms, with a variety of sponsors (Post Cereals, Sanka, Spic-n-Span, and Jell-O.)
