Jewish Traces in Unexpected Places: Rabbi wins Kosher BBQ Championship in Texas
Today we're starting a new series called Jewish Country. Oriel and Lior are two Israelis who film and talk their way through a road trip across the American heartland looking for unexpected Jewish connections in flyover country.
Our first post in this series follows Chabad Rabbi Mendel Segal as he works his way into the Dallas barbecue culture and hones his skills to win Kosher BBQ contests.
Enjoy!
A SPECIAL NOTE FOR NEW EMAIL SUBSCRIBERS: THE VIDEO MAY NOT BE VIEWABLE DIRECTLY FROM THE EMAIL THAT YOU GET EACH DAY ON SOME COMPUTERS AND TABLETS. Now, we're going to have to eat some 'cue this weekend. Mouths are watering.
